Raffaella Barbierato, musicologist and choir director, is the director of the State Library of Cremona. She began working there as a librarian in charge of the manuscript section and as a specialist in musical collections, organizing and cataloging all the band music by Ponchielli preserved in the Library, as well as his correspondence.
Author of numerous publications on bibliographic and historical topics, she has edited, among others, the volumes:
